We have five phases total. Enlightenment which is the first 10 weeks. Alpha which is like 8 to 10 weeks where we learn hair color and perming. Beta which is like 15 weeks? I think? And we learn nails, facials, skin care and a bunch of the state board way of things. And then Gamma which is some other things. I don't really know what we learn in Gamma. I think it's like advanced cutting and photo shoots and stuff like that. And then the last 200 hours is all state board practice. <br /> <br /> I would think anything you learn at an Aveda school would be the same no matter what. We do get some interesting characters coming in to the school though. It's really neat. <br /> <br /> What is the most popular hair cut at school there?<p>We have five phases too. Intro (basics of everything), Advanced 1 (practice what you learn in intro and learn nails and skin care), Advanced 2 (start taking guests out on the salon floor and learn more hair cuts) Salon Concepts, and Masters (S.C. and Masters is pretty much the same format at A2). They are all 11 weeks. We go Thursday and Friday from 9am-8pm and Saturday from 8am-7pm. </p> <p>Umm We get a lot of long layers. It is a mostly college students that come in so we get a lot of highlights and long hair cuts.
